Where can I get some data sheets for some older mainboards ('am486dx' - not the correct name...) or some harddisk of ancient times?

Do you want the specs on a board that supports a 486dx cpu by intel
Or are you asking about a 486dx computer or board you have.
If you do simply look at the board of the computer it will tell you the brand name and model number.

From there google it.

Anyway 486dx cpu`s were 16 bit processors.
