It is pretty lame they don't have drivers for windows 8 what you need to do is find out what components your laptop has and go find the drivers. For example if you have Intel hd 4000 graphics go to Intel and download drivers for HD 4000 graphics. Some of the drivers like the mouse and keyboard drivers will probably install automatically and if they don't the hp windows 7 drivers may work
