I currently own a Benq 2400w 24" LCD monitor. I've had it for about 6years and I'm after a new monitor as I've heard so many great things about IPS panels compared with TN's.

In an ideal world I'd like a 1440p IPS 27" monitor, but my current desk is too shallow for such a screen and there is no sapce for a bigger desk. So that dream will wait until I move, most likely a couple of years time (hopefully 30" 4k IPS screens are resonable then!)

Anyway, I'm in the market for a 24" IPS LED monitor. Once screen in particular has really caught my eye because of its gorgeously thin bezels, the Dell UltraSharp U2414H! Now my main reservations about this screen is the 1080p resolution. My current Benq monitor is 1920x1200.

Do you think I'd miss those 120 vertical pixels? Also the screen itself is 23.8" (but I can't imagine that's very noticeable). So do people think the trade off for the ultra-thin bezel and an IPS-panel is worth losing 0.2" and 120px?

Otherwise my 2 alternatives are as follows. Either the Dell Ultrasharp U2412M or the Asus VS24AH, both are 24" (technically speaking the Asus is 24.1") and both are IPS LED 1200p screens. But they lack those bezels.

Pricewise the U2414H is £204, the U2412M is £215 and the VS24AH is £239.

So, what does everyone think? All opinions and thoughts would be massively appreciate! Thanks in advance!! :D
