My PC dies on occasion when I plug in a USB device. It doesn't happen all the time, only on occasion. It's the front panel USB.
Based on searches it's probably a power issue. My brother in law built it, i've put a few upgrades in, and have never had a problem.
Problem just started happening randomly and doesn't appear to be related to anything I've done to it recently (I am a hobbyist - not IT).
It's got a 1000w Rosewill power supply, i5 2500K (not oc'ed), gtx 680, WD 2 TB Black, and Samsung 840 Pro.
I did have some weird issues with SATA plugs not working when I installed the two hard drives over XMAS, I'm thinking it's a failing power supply, or MOBO.
Any thoughts?
