Hey I apologize in advance if this is the wrong section, but I figured this would be the best section to post it in.
I want to connect my PS3 controller to my pc to play games with it. I have a couple years of experience working with Motionjoy software and little experience with BetterDS3 tool. When it comes to actually getting the ps3 controller to work I have found that both programs get the job done, but at a price...

My issue is when I install these drivers and use these programs, my bluetooth dongle/adaptor (relatively new, 4.0) is overwritten to become a Motionjoy adaptor (my guess is that it converts it from a normal bluetooth adaptor to a ps3 bluetooth adaptor but im not sure) which renders it not present/unable to connect to my bluetooth headphones.

Is there a program/method to connect a ps3 controler to my PC, but still preserve my bluetooth dongle/adaptor so that I may connect my headphones ( and other devices if possible, e.g. mouse) as well .

I want to be able to game with my PS3 controller and bluetooth headphones wirelessly connected to my PC.

Thanks in advance,
Zorak16

Unfortunately, there is no "better" way to hook the PS3 controller to the PC at this time other than MotionJoy or BetterDS3. Sony did not put any amount of real time into configuring these to work with the controller API on Windows to make it compatible, so MotionJoy makes your computer "think" that the PS3 controller is an Xbox 360 controller, and manipulates it that way.

My recommendation would be to swallow the cost on a Xbox 360 Controller for PC (Usually around $40) as it works better natively and shouldn't muck with your bluetooth drivers.
