I need a new motherboard for a i7 4770k.

Socket: 1150.

My GPU: AMD Radeon 290 r9 series

What do you recommend?

Thanks for your support.

PS. I only have 6 gb ram, would you recommend getting some more, is it doing my performance weaker when i only have 6gb ram?
.

Yes get a Z87 motherboard, You have a 'k' processor which means it's unlocked an can be overclocked. Asus, AsRock and Gigabyte are reputable companies so choose their motherboards. Although IMHO Asus is the best, but you can't go wrong with Gugabye or AsRock. The motherboards listed by Hello Man are very good but if you don't have enough money for those, you could try the Asus Z87-K. 6 gigs should be fine but I think more and more games are asking for 8GB of RAM now. So you should get 8 gigs of RAM, hwoever if getting more RAM affects your motherboard choice, e.g. you can only afford a B85 motherboard, buy a better motherboard and wait until you have enough money to buy RAM.
In short if you need a good Z87 mobo get the ASUS Maximus V1 Hero, but if you don't have enough money get the Z87-k.
