Windows 7 reboots after exiting Sleep Mode

Working on an IBM Lenovo SL500. Put it in sleep mode, touch spacebar to wake up and the system reboots and then an error message pops up and says System did not shut down properly?

Thank you for your advice! I downloaded the patch and installed it as stated. During the installation it said something like "this system does not require this patch", but I completed the instructions and rebooted. No luck....:-(
When I hit "Fn+F4" to put it to sleep, the screen goes black, the harddrive light flashes for a bit, there's a beep and it shutdown. When I touch the space bar, it completes a full reboot and asks if I want to boot in "Normal mode". Once in Windows, I get an error that Windows was not shut down properly. Any ideas?
