Alright guys I just have a few quick questions that I would like answered if someone could get around to it.

I want to do a dual-monitor set up but I'm not sure on specifications and such, so I will just give you the necessary parts that you will probably need to know and I'll go from there.
GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130921&clickid=wNiyuDTezTJaSol1VZyw411-UkTR7eVBT1F8RI0&iradid=97618&ircid=2106&irpid=79301&nm_mc=AFC-IR&cm_mmc=AFC-IR-_-na-_-na-_-na

Current, Single Monitor: http://www.ncixus.com/products/?usaffiliateid=1000031504&sku=64581&vpn=VS238H-P&manufacture=ASUS&promoid=1213

1. I was going to use this second monitor for the internet, Skype, other websites and such. Nothing heavy at all.

2. Basically just want it to get rid of Alt-Tab. Of course it will have more uses but they will never require much.

I just wanted suggestions on how I would hook it up, a good second monitor, etc.

If you guys could help me out that would be great!

Thanks in advance.

Solution
matching your current monitor is nice, getting a second 4:3 monitor also works, i.e. 1280x1024 might find these dirt cheap. just plug it into the other dvi port.

Alright, so you are just suggesting I get a second of the same monitor and then check use the other DVI port?

Also, I'm sure there is, but is there a guide to setting it up? Can't remember if it is Eyefinity or something else.

All you have to do is plug the second monitor into the graphics card, nothing fancy. Right click your desktop --> screen resolution --> Expand desktop to both monitors.

Eyefinity is when you have three monitors and your using it for surround gaming, not when you have two as an extended desktop.
