GeForce GTX 760 GAMING ITX video card on a full size atx motherboard?

Would it be ok to put a GTX 760 video card designed for an ITX motherboard on my existing full size ATX motherboard. ASUS M4N98TD
Would i expect to run into problems with fit, or any other compatibility issues?
Also is the asus bios 0803 appropriate for gtx 760? What bios version would be good for 760?
How about a mini atx card on full size atx motherboard?

If so, it should provide good case airflow, despite the giant cpu cooler. I am suprised to see no documentation on this matter anywhere.

Just to clear up a couple of things -

It's a standard GTX760 with a shorter cooler. The "ITX" in the name is just an MSI term so they can match it up with their gaming series ITX motherboard(s). That means it's the same basic height and width as a standard GTX760, and uses the same PCIe x16 interface. The main obvious difference is that the standard GTX760 uses two 6-pin PCIe power connectors, and this card uses a single 8-pin.

The reference GTX670, GTX660Ti and GTX760 PCBs are all around 175mm, pretty much identical to this card, so if you removed the coolers you'd struggle to tell the difference between the them.

Your motherboard uses PCIe 2.0, and the card uses PCIe 3.0. This isn't a problem, as it is backwards compatible. BIOS version shouldn't make any difference.

There is no such thing as an ITX or mATX graphics card (or for that matter, an ATX graphics card). The width and height of a card is pretty limited as the height and width of an expansion slot is standard to the ATX (and subsequent form) specifications, but length is hugely variable. You can get half height cards, and single slot cards for more niche cases/situations. If there was such a thing as an ITX graphics card, it would presumably have to be single slot, as this is all the ITX standard specifies (though most modern ITX cases offer dual expansion slot and full length graphics card compatibility).

Wow, thanks Rammy, this post is extremely informative to anyone with question. Being the 760 is slight overkill for my phenom at 3.78, I will likely just throw it in the case, and run it if i choose it. Should be reasonably quiet, and stay reasonably cool, and last a long time! It may also help with my psu mess.
