I am looking to build a good computer that achieves good framerates on games such as battlefield 4 multiplayer. Is this setup good? I also have 16gb of ram.
I love how people put on the forums go "I HAVE AN i7 32 GB OF RAM AND 780ti. IS IT GOOD?!?!? CAN IT PLAY MINECRAFT AT 60FPS?"
If you're spending that kind of money, I would assume that you would know the quality of the stuff you're buying.
With 3 770s you are officially in overkill land...what resolution are you gaming at?
If you're at 1080p then 2 770s are overkill let alone 3...
At 1080p even single screen 2 GTX 770's are definetly not overkill. Im running 2 780 Ti's on a single 1080p and its far from overkill to make sure minimum framerates never drop below 40-50fps.......... There are games ou there that will give a pair of 770's a serious workout and have minimum fps BELOW 30fps..........my old 780's in sli couldn't fully max out certain games even.
You'd see at least 140fps with 3 770s, because 3 770s put out 150fps in Battlefield 3 Ultra 1080p
But with just one 770 you'd see 74fps in Battlefield 3 Ultra 1080p...anymore is overkill, I'm telling ya.
With bf4, what kind of performance drop should I be expecting?

Then you have something set up wrong because I only have SLI 760's and I still haven't found a game that will knock that below 60 FPS and I don't like anything less than ultra.
I agree with Spectre, you should be NEVER be seeing minimums below 40-50fps with two 780 Ti's on a 1080p screen--if so you either have some other hardware/software issue or the 780 Ti's aren't nearly as powerful as we all have been led to believe (I'm leaning towards the former)

LOL! My single 280x runs BF4 and doesn't go below 50 FPS on maxed video settings. You've got something wrong, or your 1 key isn't working; with 2 780 Ti's you shouldn't see less than 140, not 40.
