I would like to keep within a budget of $300-$400 for any suggested upgrade/s

I have two questions;

1. will I have an issue running my current rig on vanity/ultra graphics?

2. If so, will your suggested upgrade/s help me reach my goal or should I cut my loses and just play the game as is, doing a full over haul in the future when my budget expands?

this is the recommended settings posted by the dev's for ESO

PC RECOMMENDED SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit or Windows 8 64-bit
Processor: Quad Core 2.3GHz or equivalent processor
Memory: 4GB System RAM
Hard Disk Space: 60GB free HDD space
Video Card: Direct X 11 compliant video card with 2GB of RAM (NVIDIA® GeForce® 560 Ti / ATI Radeon™ 6950 or better)
Sound: DirectX compatible sound card

This is my current set up

Windows 7 64-bi
Mobo - AMD ASRock - 970 Extreeme3
CPU - AMD Phenom II x6 1055T Thuban
Ram - CORSAIR DOMINATOR GT 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Desktop Memory with Airflow Fan Model CMT8GX3M2A2000C9
GPU - Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5
Power Sup - 700W

Well I would say go Crossfire and maybe a new PSU, but the prices on AMD cards are wonky right now.

Personally, I would try to wait it out, the 7870 GHz will get you pretty good graphics. I don't want you to spend $400 and be underwhelmed by what the difference you see. Going with a 770 would be the best upgrade you could get, but I'm not sure if that upgrade will be worth it to you or not.
