My rear case fan uses a 3 pin connector, its a foxconn d80sh-12 80mm fan I took from an older computer, it works fine in the old computer, the first time i plugged it in to my current computer it worked, but then it stopped spinning, its not detected in speedfan (i never tried detecting it before in speedfan) and i have 2 3-pin connectors, tried them both and they did not work, I've asked this question before but the other guy told me to update the bios and check it but that didn't help, please i need to cool my pc its way to hot atm.

If it's an old fan, it may be dead. Unless you take it out and it still works in the old computer.

Replacing a case fan isn't expensive anyways, and will likely save you all the headache of trying to figure out why yours doesnt work.

Oh yea i forgot to mention that i plugged it out 3 times of my current pc and put it back into the old one and it worked immediately at full power each and every time, so im sure its not dead.
