Is it worth upgrading to a 2560x1440 monitor if I have a GTX 780?

Solution
It is not worth it. As an owner of a 1200p monitor at 24 inches and a 1440p monitor at 27 inches. The pixels per inch are almost the same. The only thing you will gain is 3 inches between the right and left sides. Even the height of it vertically is only slightly smaller. I would recommend the dell 2412m. That is probably the best monitor I have ever used.

I was using a 1920x1080 Acer monitor for years, and just a couple of months ago I bought a QNIX 27" 2560x1440 monitor. ( QX2710LED )
I am VERY impressed with its quality, they use LG panels and skip all the circuitry. You can only adjust brightness on the monitor, no other settings.

I am even able to send my monitor a 2560x1440 120Hz signal and the monitor handles it fine. (My GTX 480 however can't power it)

At 1920x1080 your GTX 780 is barely sweating in most games, I would definitely consider getting a 2560x1440 monitor.

A heads up, the monitors ONLY support Dual link DVI-D/DVI-I
