How Many Fans Can A Gigabyte 990fx-ud3 Mother Board Handle?

Looking at the mother board, I can see 4 fan connections.. How would I add more than 4 and how many can the motherboard handle? - Thanks!

You can use a y-splitter for fans into the motherboard headers. I would give Gigabyte a call or an email to see if how much then can handle before putting anything. It might overload and the header will blow up. Have you considered getting a fan controller?

Well the case i will probably be getting does have a fan controller.. i believe it can house up to 7 fans.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146148 But then i would have to use a Y splitter?

No. The NZXT H440 can handle all 7 fans.

And then the 7 port fan controller would just use 1 plug to plug in?

Yes. I has many ports for 10 fans as seen in the picture.
