Hello everyone,

I just got finished building my gaming PC. Everything is working great and all, until I start up any type of video game. I have noticed that there are dark wavy lines going horizontally across my monitor. It is especially noticeable on dark screens. I have been reading up on it, and it appears that it may be because this monitor is VGA. I will include links to my hardware below. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I believe you have hit the nail on the head. To test your assessment, borrow a monitor with a DVI, HDMI, or Display Port connection and hook it up to your PC.
Years ago this was noted as a problem using VGA (D-Sub) connection on an LCD monitor; it went away with a digital (see above) connection.
