So I officially made the jump, sold my desktop, bought a laptop. A few differences to get used to but the switch has been quite smooth on my workflow. As a student I move like a wildabeast.
anyway

3 limited problems I've never experienced before. Now I've read people blame the hardware, but I'm running a i7-4700mq, 8gb ram(ive had a few windows messages about ram almost being depleted(which ive never had ona desktop with still 8gb)). and it should be stated a gtx780m(often turned off when not gaming)

1) flash video on youtube, not all the time but occasionally stutters every few minutes for a split second or two(sound is smooth and unaffected as it buffers to catch up) It's not always and it seems from research to be a problem with firefox and flash itself? Recommendations welcome, as it can be annoying when watching a show.

2) Wireless connection is very good, intel centrino 3rd band going hard, download and upload connections are always solid even extremely far away from router, problem is as soon as I play latency dependent counter strike, I get 3 seconds of lag every minute or four, and again my ping is literally a solid 15 even it still does this.

My bet is these 2 problems are twins birthed from the same problem.

3rd)is there a difference outside of the options in advanced control between balanced and maximum performance? so far dosnt seem to be other than presets(my balanced is set to run like max perf when plugged it, runs like powersave when on battery) Any recommendations for how to work these power plans? I did turn off auto select in nvidia control panel to avoid any issues of gpu being throttled, will it indeed throttle if i leave it on "auto select" or is the management automation rather smart?

Thanks guys in advance, take care eh.
