I have a hp pavilion dv6000 that had the black screen issue with it. so i watched a bunch of videos on how to try and fix the issue and i tried all of them accept the reflow and none of them worked . sooooo i went ahead and did the reflow and put my laptop all back together ,and i turned it on, and it came on for 1 second and shut right back off . so i have no idea if the reflow even worked yet . does anyone now what might be the problem with it ?

could have been an unsuccessful reflow, in fact that is most likely it. and what did you reflow? just your gpu, or the mobo, or both? and how did you do it?

hmmmm another way you could try is to put it in the oven. and a reflow is not always going to fix things, it depends on what is not working.
well my main problem now is getting the power to stay on. I push the power button and it comes on ,and then shuts right off. and the on/off power thing didn't start till after I did the reflow. before the reflow, it powered up just fine , the monitor just didn't come on, that's why I was doing the reflow .

well, its possible that you damaged the gpu during the reflow, and your mobo detects it and shuts off to prevent damage to the rest of the system. you should try to buy a new gpu.
