I have a Gateway Solo 5100 notebook with Windows 98 , it has a CD rom and a floppy disc reader in it (interchangeable) ... I gave it to a friend who wanted to read her Windows 95 floppy disc's in it , and she claims it doesn't work ! I had not tried this before giving it to her . Is she correct , or is there something that can be done program wise ?.

I remember in DOS you need to install the cd rom driver, you would be better off trying to make a bootable floppy drive.
