Hello,

I need help pls. My onboard audio on my Asrock z77 extreme3 is not detected. i tried the ff steps.

1. Downloaded the latest driver from asrock website and installed it.
-still the same.
2. Run device manager and scanned for hardware chages.
-still gets notification that device driver still not successfully installed.

My headphones are detected as primary and my Speakers detected not plugged in.

Help pls.

Thank you.

check in the bios under onboard devices that the audio chipset is turned on.

install the newest intel chipset drivers if one is damaged your sound may not work right.
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false
download the newest 2.73 drivers here.
if the drivers are damaged the installer will fail and not reboot your system if that happens..go to add/remove programs and uninstall the realteck package.
