How to increase dedicated graphics memory?

I have a 1gb nvidia gt210 graphics card .When i go to nvidia contol panel's system configuration it shows that total available graphics memory is 1023mb but dedicated is 256 mb ddr3.this gives me problem playing games like cod black ops.Can anyone fix this problem.Will increase in RAM will resolve this problem. THANKYOU

use gpu-z to read your video card. from looking at your post you have too issues. one is low amount of ram. most gaming pc have 8g of ram to let the system have room for virtual memory for video. the other issues is you dont have a one gig video card you have a 256meg card. so you have very little gpu ram. for the money now a 750/750ti would be a good upgrade for a small low power pc.
