Ok so i recently came across my old hard drive from my old computer. The computer was running off of vista 64.
Ive built a new comp running windows 7 64bit and have put my old HDD into a hard drive dock as to take the files off with a drag and drop.
However now the drive continuously asks for reformatting which i obviously do not want to do. Ive tried to use a recovery tool (easeus) and it finds everything on the drive but when i recover or go to preview shows the file as either damaged or corrupt. Ive tried several tools to hopefully fix them but to no avail.
The hdd also shows as healthy in a full partition in my L drive under disk management.
Please help me, there is quite a bit of stuff on this drive that i would like to keep.
Ill also like to add that it shows up as a RAW drive and NTFS.
