here is a list of programs that are mostly free and the top one, Recuva, looks like a real winner. It should be an easy fix assuming you haven't written to much new data on the drive
Later you can then go through Administrative Tools>Disk Management to change the drive letter assignment of the drive back to D: if you prefer.
