91 fps lock :(

I have the GTX 780 ti and run games effortlessly. But with alot of games, Minecraft, CoD Ghosts, CoD WaW to name a few, my games can't go higher than 91 fps (Random enough number). I have a 60 Hz monitor so It can't be V sync. I'd appreciate the help, thank you

That probably is the highest fps that your graphics card can offer you. So you cannot have fps greater than that. Also, 91 fps is great so why sad about it?
I would be very happy if all my games get locked at 91 fps.

I record at 1080p so it can get annoying. The 780 ti is a 700euro GPU it can definitely run these games at a higher FPS. And it's only a handful of games that it happens in

The COD games are actually fps locked. I think it has something to do with the fact that they are based on the Quake 3 engine which correlates max_packets with the frame rate. So higher fps means higher bandwidth. I'd further surmise that the limited capabilities of the Xbox and P2P servers are the reason why they made such a silly restriction. Try to enter "com_maxfps 0" in the console. That is, if the new CODs even still have a console.

I dont know abt COD Ghosts, but yes, some games are fps locked. Like the NFS Rivals is locked at only 30 FPS. Youc can try the console commands that others have been suggesting though.

I used to get higher fps on my old crappy GPU on these game though, besides Ghosts
