Hi anyone, I'm thinking of upgrading my old Hard Drive to 1TB, But not sure my laptop is upgradeable upto that. If not I will upgrade with 500GB. Also how do I know how much GB my laptop is upgradable? My laptop is Toshiba Satellite Pro, Serial No. 5A051451Q, Model No. PS C11G-003001. Please help?

Yes you can. As long as you can find a 1TB 2.5 inch SATA hard driver, you're good to go.

You may find the info on Toshiba's own support website: http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/generic/SUPPORT_PORTAL...

Thnks for your reply but I think my laptop is really outdated the website say "Enter a valid Serial No." so I click Auto detect and it said, "sorry your product could not be found"

Thnks you. Just for clarification, don't you think my laptop would be running slower if I upgrade to 1TB HD? It is 2GB RAM, 2.10GHz and 2 Core Duo Processor

It wont be any slower.

Unless you buy a SATA 2 1tb hard drive and ur old one is a SATA 3. Then there will be a performance decrease but not much.

I wouldnt worry about it. Just buy a reliable laptop hard drive. If you really want the best performance get a SATA 3. Most drives are SATA 3 anyway.
