M running win 7 64 bit.....mobo: asus p7h55-lx
M not getting any sound from my speakers .....
is there a way to check that the audio ports are working properly???
I connected my headphones to the audio port on the rear....but still i didnt get any sound after playing a sound file??
Is there a problem with mobo? if yes...whats the solution????
Also i checkd under device manager>Sound video and game controlllers....it listed "VIA High Definition Audio"...
is this the sound card??If no...then Will getting an external sound card help?
FYI: I have all the codecs nd drivers installed and also the speakers r set as default under sound/control panel...
Update: there was a problem with the mobo. went to asus and got fixed in a couple of mins
