I just bought parts for a computer and everything starts up the heat sink the graphics card even the case fans but i still get no signal to the mother board. I'm not using the graphics card for video because i don't have the right cord. I'm plugging it in to the mother board but shouldn't i still get video? it also doesn't post beep when i start it....

When a PCI or PCI-E graphics card is detected by the BIOS, the on-board one is automatically disabled to prevent a resource conflict.

Remove the PCI or PCI-E graphics card and the on-board graphics adapter should then work okay.

If it doesn't, go into BIOS Setup and enable it, but that shouldn't be necessary as it should switch to enabled by default.
