I intended to test mybrand new ri. i have a Radeon r7 260x and i5 440 processor..will the furmark test help me or heats up and burns my gpu? but without testin how can i know any stability problems i miht encounter with my ri in my near future? can i do the furmark test..as i heard that it may rise the temperatures to high.

If you use a benchmark program, they will normally display the temperature in the corner. Just stop the program if it goes above 75C. Also, most cards have an automatic throttle if they get too hot.
