My current system is: i7 2600k , Asus P8Z68-V Pro Gen3, 8GB G.skill ddr3 1600
i am upgrading to 16GB of ram and am looking at the Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 1600 CL9.
the specs state that the Compatibility is : "Intel® 3rd and 4th Generation Core Processors"
so will this ram not work with my system (2nd Gen Cpu) although my motherboard fits these sticks ?
there is the non pro series at the exact same price (also 1600 cl9) so im just wondering..
