As MS support is finishing for XP in April, I'm concerned/fear that my files & folders on Office 2003 on my XP OS will not be accessible, if/when I am forced to get a replacement pc with Windows 7 or 8 on it.
I assume Office 2010 or 2013, either Home & Business or Professional.are the replacement versions?
Can you help?

Office 2003 will work on Win7 and Win8.x

When migrating to Win7 or Win8.x you will have to backup all you data since during the upgrade to either Win7 or Win8.x the installation program will perform a fresh install and you will have to reinstall all your programs.

There is no direct upgrade from XP to Win7 or Win8.x where the current settings and currently installed software will be kept.

Microsoft has a utility that will back up your files and then place them into the corresponding folders once the new version of Windows is installed.
