This is an easy one, because I am a huge n00b. I will leave out the long winded story and just start with the question:

I am 80% done with my first HTPC build, and I only have the GPU (backorder coming in 2 weeks) and a HDD (SSD already hooked up) coming in the mail. I am itching to turn my work into something that lights up a screen. Is it ok to hook it all up, load OS (windows), then in a few days/week open her back up and put in the GPU and HDD? Or is it easier to wait and do it all at once?

I was going to wait on the "complete" cable management until the other components came in, so that shouldn't be an issue. Thanks!

What's you cpu and mobo, if it supports integrated graphics then it's fine to do so.

I had my computer working off of the ig for three weeks while my card came and it managed flight simulator pretty well

You can turn it on now and use it like it is, and easily add the GPU and HDD later when they arrive. You would have to change video drivers.

Sorry about the lack of specs. Just a little beginner build, nothing fancy.

CPU Intel Core i3-4130 3.4GHz Dual-Core
Motherboard MSI B85I Mini ITX LGA1150
Memory Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600
Storage Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" SSD
Video Card EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB
Case Cooler Master Elite 130 Mini ITX Tower
Power Supply Corsair 430W ATX12V

Adding WD Black 1 TB HDD
