I got a new mobo (intel dz75ml-45) and a new processor (i5 3570) and installed them, taking instructions from the most reliable interwebs. So, I ended up blasting my recently bought PSU. Now, while my mobo's been installed, and works or turns on, my computer doesn't boot: The board turns on, (green light) and when I power it up, there's just a beep kind of thing, and nothing happens. This, also for all subsequent attempts at pressing the power button. What do I do?

The beeps are trying to tell you what's wrong. What exactly does "blasting" your PSU entail?

Well, apparently I didn't install the ram properly. So, what happened was there was a kind of mini-explosion in the PSU which rendered it useless. Got a new one, and now I'm trying to plug the right wires in the right places.

That would be a good start. The beep codes will tell you what's wrong. Check your MB manual or the OEM website.

Checked the manual, took out the wires and re-attached them. Worked. Thanks.
