I've had my computer for over a year and I didn't really use it much for the first 6 months. However 6 months ago I got back into PC gaming and discovered that my computer would occasionally crash during game play. The crash is different depending on what game I am playing however for the majority of the games my computer will freeze and in order to exit the game I will have to close it in task manager. I have tried replacing my graphics card, updating every kind of driver you can think of, downgrading to older drivers, re-installing windows, testing different slots for ram and my graphics card and testing different hard drives. A game will crash once per hour on average though it can differ. I'm really fed up with this and any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

it's your PSU. typically dies and the z77 by asrock is not a very stable board.

So if I upgrade my psu I should be good?
And what would you recommend for a stable psu for my system?

I'd go with a Corsair GS800, that'll give you plenty of wattage. Also I'm pretty sure it has the cool and quiet feature which is pretty dope.
