keyboard/mouse for ps3/4 help

Only briefly read that you can use a usb keyboard to play with on ps3. What i would like to know would be;

What keyboard/mouse would be recommended?

Interested in buying The last of us series, beyond two souls, COD, BF4, probably an rts, would the keyboard/mouse work with these?

Would the keyboard/mouse work on the PS4 afterwards?

Is it simply plug n play or will i have to do anything on my computer to make the keyboard compatible? (using win 7 ult 64bit)

Can it be used on my PC as well?

There are not many games that support Mouse/Keyboard use for the games, Last of Us or Beyond Two Souls definitely don't.

There's always this product, that converts Keyboard/Mouse into PS3 controller inputs, but I have no idea to how well it works, have just seen it recommended on other forums and the reviews speak pretty well of it, but they warn to expect that the mouse handles just like the analog stick, not like a mouse does (i.e., moving the mouse faster doesn't move the camera faster, it's a constant sensitivity just like the controller)
