My old PC gets slow and has 100% CPU Usage

I have AMD Semprion 140, did a fresh reinstall on windows XP sp3 and i installed all the drivers. It was working as it should when suddenly i had a System crash and after that everything turned bad, the process wont move from 100% and it opens folders after 10 mins. I think a Tetris will do better... Any solutions ?

Go ahead and do that then it sounds like a bad hard drive though a reinstall may help.

Windows CHKDSK (should be able to do from install disk) would be a good place to start or something like MHDD 4 would be a good choice as well.

That looks alright but run this just to be sure.

If that doesn't come up with anything try re installing.

That was my bad it has been a while since i've used it and forgot how confusing that program is. Give me a minute and I'll get you a better one and howto.

Try this on the computer that boots trial version just do an error scan and tell us what you get

I ran HDTune and it found nothing too

Ima try it again and see if it works, if not i will reinstall windows and i will write you. Any ways gonna go sleep
