Can it be done? I want to change it to H but whenever I try to change it it comes up with an error.

Because then HDD is H and SSD is S.

That's got to be one of the worst reasons to want to do such a thing. Yes, it can be done but it requires a full reinstallation on a drive that already has that designation. However, it is not without its problems. There are plenty of pieces of software that expect the system to be on C:\ and will refuse to either install or run if it isn't.

So what I think you're saying is that you want the HDD to be drive H, and the SSD to be S?
And the HDD is the boot drive?

You will run into problems having the boot drive (whichever it is) be other than C. Many applications will choke.
Don't do this.
