Hello, I created an account because I could not find anything on this.

I got an i7-4820k the other day and have been testing it. Almost all sources i have looked at say that it should be scoring in the 10k-13k range on the physics test but mine is scoring at most ~9600 and a lowest of ~6500. I have tried many different settings in the bios and have ranged my OC from 4.0Ghz--5.0Ghz with little difference in the results.

I have an ASUS Rampage IV Extreme, which I plan on selling, and I'm wondering if it could be the board. It appeared to be in good physical condition with no bent pins.

As a reference point, my 3930K OC'd to 4.2 Ghz, scores 15005 on the 3DMark Firestrike physics test. I'm not sure how a much difference 6 cores would make over 4 cores.

Yeah from what I've seen my CPU should be scoring higher, not that high but not half of what it should be doing.

I opened up my computer today and took out the CPU to check for damage, it appeared to be in perfect condition. The board however had 1 pin that looked a little strange.

Here's a picture: http://i.imgur.com/eF0ACnv.jpg It's about the left middle pin.
