Hi guys,my pc is equiped with: i2 quadcore(Q6600),GeForce 8800 GTS,2gb ram and its running on windows 7 ultimate.Before 1 month i restarted my pc and then the lcd monitor displayed normally for 3 secs and then it goes off.I tried changing wires and everything still nothing.Connected second monitor and it worked normally.I checked if its gpu problem but it seems that it isn't(i connected the monitor with my motherboard but that isnt possible because my cpu works only with gpu for some reason)Today my second monitor had exactly the same problem with the old one the only difference is that it doesnt display anything but sleep mode.I personally believe that something is wrong with the wire that supplies power to the monitor since i used the same to both monitors.Also when i connected that power supply wire to my computer i noticed that the bios went too slow.Lastly my mouse doesnt work,my keyboard too when i try to open the computer.What should i do??

Would try changing the power cables as you are thinking...can also check the video cables that go from monitor to GPU
