I just bought a new motherboard and CPU, they were a bundle on newegg, and I put everything together, I have a 300w psu, 2 sticks of ram ddr3 and my graphics card, but when I turn it on, it doesn't boot or make any beep noise, when I took out the ram, it still didn't make any beeping noise, does that mean something's wrong with the motherboard? Please help, I can give you the links to the motherboard and CPU if you need it.

Solution
Maybe you are unlucky, the problem maybe from MB, like they say "The A960D+ is mainstream designed motherboard to be price competitive, not special design that can give above stand performance." in the newegg.com

You need contact the company or newegg for RMA. Or if you ( or your friend) have other cpu then test it.

Try pulling the battery out of the motherboard. it will reset it to factory default. And test your powersupply and make sure thats working. Then try and see if it will turn on. Try it without the graphics card in and see if you can get into bios or even find out if the fans spin up.

My computer definitely has power, the psu works, the fans work on the heatsink and graphics card. I tried it without the battery in it and it still didn't boot up, it turns on but doesn't post.
