Hey all, when I upgraded to an SSD i just did a simple clone of the drive to avoid complications. Performance has been everything I have herd of, however my Disk Management page is troublesome.

So what do I need to do in order to remove this R: and not only reclaim this out of date recovery space (I do have physical disks), and then somehow "shift" left.

I currently have Macrium Reflect Pro at my disposal, but if this can be done in Diskpart, or Disk management that is acceptable as well. I should also note that I have several drives that I can copy too and pull from, and another machine that I can use to transfer this stuff over.

Thanks in advance.

Are you aware that if you remove the recovery partition (R) you will no longer be able to perform a factory recovery from the hard drive?

Since (R) is not the Active partition (which means there is no boot manager on it), you can delete it without screwing Windows up, but you'll need to do it outside of Windows, with a bootable CD.

Create this bootable CD by downloading the free ISO file: http://www.partitionwizard.com/partition-wizard-bootable-cd.html
Now install IMGBURN and use it to create the CD from the ISO file: http://www.filehippo.com/download_imgburn

Boot your PC from the CD and MiniTool Partition Wizard will open.

Delete the Recovery partition. You should then have one contiguous area of unallocated space, (which includes the unallocated space that already existed).

Now create a partition to fill that space, then format it.

When done, remove the MiniTool CD and boot into Windows.
