and what are your system specs?? DO NOT get that card with your current system, as it is am2+. about 80% of that card will be bottlenecked by any am2+ cpu.

Thanks for the fast replies man, I really apprieciate it!

I think apart from the mobo everything is pretty good stuff, so the only thing I want to (have to) change is the mobo. I was looking at some Gigabyte Am3+ mobo's (Gigabyte mobo + gigabyte gpu?) but they are around 50pounds which is quiet a lot. I'm guessing it needs to be compatible with all the other stuff as welll ike the CPU, so if you can advice something which is fairly cheaper (around 30quid) than that would be awsome.

PS: Do you really think this is the reason (poor mobo) why my GPU is not working then?

Cheers again!

here is a new mobo and ram, you can put your current cpu in it, move over your hdd, optical drive, psu, and put it all in your current case. :p

What do you mean by moving over my hdd, drive and psu? Also I already have 2x2GB of RAM why do need to buy new ones?

Do you think i might just need a BIOS update?

thanks

ok, so you will need new ram because your current ram is ddr2, and will not fit in your new mobo cuz it will be ddr3, and i would not upgrade to a new mobo that is still ddr2, cuz it wont be much of an upgrade. and you can just plug in your hard drive to the new mobo, same with the dvd/cd drive, psu, cpu, and you can keep it all in the same case.
