So, I am upgrading my H80 water cooler to a H100i and I was thinking of taking the H80 and adding a peltier to cool the water block and and in turn cool the air blowing through the radiator into the case. Has anyone tried this?

Yeah , the H80 still works and all and you can get a Peltier with heatsink and fan for like $30, so I was thinking why not use the water block in reverse and cool it and then cool the air going into my case. If it has no effect oh well..

It depends on the model, but most can drop temps by up to 70C, so honestly you might end up freezing the H80, and causing water vapor to condense in the case.
I would say try it and let us know, but carefully.
The unit I am looking at is said to get to 39 degrees. I am going to run it in a old case for awhile to see what temps I get inside the case. I thought about adding a voltage controller to adjust the temp up a bit.
just using a 12v 5amp laptop charger from ebay and a old volume control for a fan to regulate the voltage so it will not get too cold. Will run it outside the case for a day or 2 to see how it performs. I have not yet done this yet but it is on my list
