As the title says, i get massive ping lag during games (world of tanks, League of legends, smite etc) and its really pissing me off at this point. I have 2 roommates and we all play online games at the same time. they get no lag at all when i get massive ping lag at the worsts of times. I have tried wireless and using a wire and its still the same damn thing all the time. I am running on a laptop but its a very good laptop that is way better then both their computers put together.

Specs:
Killer wireless-N 1103 Network Adapter
Microsoft Virtual WiFi Network Adapter
Nvidea GTX 675
Intel Core i7-3740QM

Other note:
My ping usually goes between 75-105, when i get ping lag it jumps to 500+. Usually 999.

Solution

So far, thanks to one of my friends for pointing it out. I had my Ethernet cable plugged in but my laptop was still using my wireless. I have fixed this problem and so far i have yet to get any ping besides the occasional lag spike but that goes for the 3 of us.

I have tried different ports and i still get ping lag

Do you download stuff when you play games?
Try to disable all the unnecessary programs in the background when playing, especially Anti-Virus update, other software updates, and web browser too.
If the above does end up reducing the ping spike then we will be one step closer to the problem.

Are you all using the same router? That's odd that only you are getting ping spikes. I'd say the issues lies what your computer. Maybe a bad lan port or wifi chip. On another note, you could try the free trial of Wtfast and see if it does anything for you. I've heard good things from guild mates in Guilds Wars 2.
