Making Bootable USB

I'm trying to install Linux Ubuntu 13.10 onto my flash drive. I downloaded unetbootin but it dosen't give a selection for 13.10 ? What can I do? Also Can I use Google Chrome on Linux?

I use LiLi to make bootable usb drive on windows.

Also yes google chrome is available on Linux.
On ubuntu:
  1. sudo apt-get install chromium-browser

I finally made the usb, Installed it & worked for 4 days trying to get my wireless WNA3100 to work! It still won't work! So i'm formatting my hard drive today & installing Win 7. Thanks to all who tried to help me! I guess im just Ignorant!

unfortunately this card uses closed source broadcom chipset. Broadcom is notorious for not having linux drivers.

The only way to get this card working under Linux is to use ndiswrapper.

bad luck that you have a card that does not support linux.
Search your card here to see what chips they use and if hey have linux driver:

I also had trouble with getting networking to work in Linux some time ago. For some reason enabling IOMMU in BIOS fixed it. Also, none of my other USB-components work without IOMMU (keyb, mouse).

If you use Unetbootin, you can always download the linux .ISO and tell Unetbootin where it is located. That works just as well as choosing from the dropdown list.
