GTX 470 or GTX 650

Hi guys. My GTX 650 broke down(driver always crashing) returned it to the store and had it replaced but will take 2-3 weeks. For the meantime i purchased a used GTX 470SE for around $50 and i find it nice. the question is should i stay with the 470 instead and sell my gtx 650 and upgrade my processor? i'm currently using i3-2120. thanks

The 470 will perform the same if not a little better than the 650.

Only thing is that the 470 eats about 4x as much power as the 650 so it's up to you to choose whether or not the 470 is worth that 4x as much power draw.

I would say 470 is better but generates much more heat and wastes a lot more power.

Sell the 650 and buy a better card like a r9 270/GTX 660 at the very least, the 470 is much more powerful than the 650 however it was notorious for running hot and inefficiently, your i3 should be fine paired with a card of that calibre since it's a pretty powerful dual core
