Hi guys,

I am currently in the market for one of the biggest computer purchases outside GFX cards I'll be making all year. I currently own a Hanns-G 28" monitor with 1920x1200. It's decent, but the color is off, my whites are not truly white, and I'm just tired of crappy low end monitors that my beefy GFX use.

I want to get THE best display that I can reasonably afford. I have 2x GTX 780's to power almost any set up, and I am very interested in quality.

My budget currently sits at $2000.

I have a few options I'm looking at,

1. Go with 3x Qnix 27" 1440p monitors in portrait.
2. Purchase a single Dell U3014 1600p.
3. Wait for the Asus PB287Q 4K
4. Go for a strong IPS monitor.

I am tempted to go with the single Dell, as I've heard they are top quality and have the best picture. 4K isn't as important to me as quality. For me, the Dell seems to come out on top.

As I primarily use my rig for gaming, the 3 Qnix's seem tempting, but to be honest the bezels are huge and will have to be removed, and I'm not just sure how practical it is for anything else.

What do you guys recommend?
