Which GPU would be better? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 270X is just an overclocked 270 with a 30 watt higher power limit. I plan to OC whatever I get (water cooled using one of these http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...) and would like to know if the extra 30 watts is going to make a difference in performance.

Thanks

Yes The R9 270X Is An Overclocked Version of the R9 270 But It Will Give you better performance and you can overclock it even more

the R9 270 is just an underpowered R9 270X, so there isn't much of a difference between the two. If the price is only a bit more on the R9 270X ($30 or under) then just get it, it will perform a bit better and the OC is slightly better but barely a difference.

I would say yes. Same Pitcairn architecture and same exact specs the whole way though. Same cards but, r7 270x is 15% Overclocked.

Alright then, thanks!

Also, just looking at the store I'd be buying it and a 270X (Sapphire-OC) is cheaper than the 270 (MSI gaming). No reason not to.
