Hi,

I am facing issues with my system following installation of graphic card. I recently changed the motherboard as the earlier one was working intermittently.

The earlier configuration of the system was:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad - Q9450 @2.66GHz
Motherboard: Intel DG33TL Media Series
RAM: 4GB (2*2GB DDR2)
HDD: 500GB
GPU: Nvidia 9500GT - 1GB

The present configuration of the system is:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad - Q9450 @2.66GHz
Motherboard: Intel DG43RK Classic Series
RAM: 6GB (3*2GB DDR3)
HDD: 1TB
GPU: Nvidia 9500GT - 1TB

I tried uninstalling the older driver and downloaded the latest driver from vendor's website before installing the card. The system boots perfectly in the safe mode. I re-installed the latest (downloaded) driver and the re-booted the system. The system is not moving ahead of the welcome or login screen. The cursor stops moving and keyboard stops responding.

I would be extremely grateful to receive your valuable thoughts about how to get through this situation.

Thank you for your time.

Cheers!

I'm seeing that you're replaced a new hdd. Did you install a fresh OS on the new hdd or image from the old hdd?
Can you still boot to Safe mode? Since you're replaced a different model motherboard on a same hard drive OS, I would suggest that you run the Windows Repair disc and see if that's help.

I tried the suggested solution. The system performance has increased a bit but the system freezes at login or welcome screen when the graphic card is plugged in. The problem that I am facing still persist and would be happy to hear other possible solutions.
