Evga SC GTX 780 or Gigabyte Winforce R9 290?

Which of these two graphics cards should i get? Im gonna play in 1080p and i want to get as high settings as i can on games such as crysis 3 and battlefield 4.

They're both relatively close in performance however there is a split. With BF4 AMD wins because of Mantle which is AMD's new API exclusive to AMD hardware. Crysis 3 however the 780 i think will give you better performance as most of the filter processes are better manged by Nvidia GPU's.

The r9 cards appear to give a LOT of people random black screens and the windforce early batches had problems with their heatsink.Both cards are similar in performance and cost , go with the 780.
