Hello,
Im looking to buy a gaming desktop with a budget of $500. I already have all the accessories I need and a monitor, I was also given a Nvidia GTX 580 and i'm hoping I can create a system that wont hold it back. I don't know a whole lot about this subject so any help would be appreciated.
Thankyou

Would you be able purchase the components and build the PC yourself (it's not as hard as it seems - plenty of tutorials)? It will work out A LOT cheaper than going to a shop and buying one

If you've been given a graphics card, I suppose you *could* always buy a pre-built Dell/HP, etc, and simply put in the graphics card and a new Power Supply. That would be easier to do than building from scratch. Of course, there may still be a few issues here and there....

He/she asked for a System that wouldn't hold the GTX 580 back.

Here's a better option

Sorry it doesn't come with an OS. I can try and squeeze one in if you'd really like....

I may be able to give it a shot, How about getting a computer technician to do it. Or would that cost an unreasonable amount of money?

How long do you think it would take me to build a computer from scratch like that? Also I was told you cant change dell computers from standard, obviously I was misinformed

You can do it within a couple of hours easy. Have a look at some tutorials online. here's one:

You will be able to with Dell, as long as it's all compatible.

You can do it, but it'll void the warranty. And you'll need to double-check the parts are compatible.

Both the links took me to the same build... Is it just me?

Looks like a pretty good case to me. If they're selling it cheap, go for it!
