Hello, TH. I'm currently looking for a monitor for gaming. I'm mostly playing World of Warcraft, with this set-up:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K@3.5GHz (Going to OC)
GPU: Geforce GTX 770 2GB
Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45
RAM: 2x4GB

- The monitor needs to be for high-end gaming, and it needs to give a really good picture. Needs to be okay big, not unrealistic big though.

Thank you allready :-)

I guess that the higher resoloution the monitor got, the better picture it displays, or am I wrong?

Considering that you usually play WoW, I'd recommend getting an IPS monitor. More specifically, a Dell U2414H or if that's too expensive, you may also consider a Dell P2414H. They both have the newest IPS panel type and therefore have superb colors. For an IPS monitor they also have pretty good input lag. The main con may be that the have "only" 1080p resolution, although I don't really see it as a problem.

Thorough reviews can be found here: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_u2414h.htm and http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_p2414h.htm.

Not sure of budget, but would take a look at the Asus VS24AH-P, about $235, or if larger, they have the Asus 29"PB298Q , great monitor , though steeper at $480
